Nikola Loncar

Nik is an experienced software engineer with more than 15 years of delivering demanding projects. Throughout his career he has repeatedly helped clients increase revenue, reduce costs, and use resources more effectively. For a global EdTech product, for example, he cut the share of unplanned work by 90%, which led to a marked improvement in operational efficiency.

During his career he has helped bring a number of SaaS products and solutions to market and raise their quality to the level of, or beyond, industry standards. His projects include a product-liability management system supporting a significant share of British petrochemical production and trade, and EF SET — one of the most widely used online systems for testing English.

At Arca Blanca he built the software engineering function from the ground up. He introduced proven practices, frameworks, and processes that could scale with the firm’s rapid growth, including a company Sales Governance framework that added about 50,000 GBP of project profitability. Under his leadership the engineering team became a key source of innovation and consistently delivered high-performance solutions aligned with the company’s business strategy. He personally took part in almost every technical project as technical lead.

Nik is also a respected trusted adviser to large and important clients. He regularly takes part in meetings at executive level and builds long-term relationships based on trust and measurable results. His expertise has been essential in helping organisations obtain ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certification and in ensuring that a number of companies meet high standards of quality and information security.
