Kate Čevora MEng

Senior Data Scientist at illumr, a specialist AI consulting firm

My work has spanned a diverse range of Machine Learning topics, from development of novel reinforcement learning algorithms to the application of Bayesian statistics for prediction of bacterial resistance. We have also developed Rosa, a tool for removing bias from any dataset.

PhD candidate in AI for medical image analysis

I am jointly affiliated with the Data Science Institute and Biomedical Image Analysis Lab at Imperial College London. My research focus is on domain generalisation and fairness for deep learning-based abdominal CT image segmentation.

MEng in Information Science and Electronics, University of Cambridge

Areas of study included signal processing and communications, machine learning and semiconductor physics. During my Masters’ project I developed prototype hardware and firmware for a next-generation smart digital stethoscope.
